I focus on dog portraits. By limiting scale (10x10 or 9x12) and a neutral background, I can capture each dog's unique likeness with a focus on the head and neck.
Using a classic Venetian painting techniques, I work in oil working from darker shades to light with a limited palette mixed to capture colors reflected in the original image.
Commission Your Companion's Portrait
I keep my rates low because I love the idea of my art bringing people joy. I charge $200 per painting, with one pet per painting. I offer basic frames at $10 and $20 for the 9x12 formats. Shipping is $20, and Hawaii State Tax is 4.5% on the total bill.
